The Mangrove tray has a beautiful antique drawing with a gold leaf finish applied to the back of the glass.  Due to this we don't recommend immersing in water, however the front face is glass so can be carefully wiped with a slightly damp cloth to clean if used for fruit or chocolates on the dinner table.
